The Métis Entrepreneurial Excellence event was held on January 20, 2023, at Hotel Arts in Calgary. It celebrated the accomplishments of Métis entrepreneurs in Alberta with an awards ceremony, dinner, and live performances. Featured artists included Métis fiddle player Alex Kusturok and the Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers. The event was hosted by Métis actor and producer Tanis Parenteau, recognizing outstanding business achievements in the Métis community.
